Client Service Coordinator

We are looking for a Client Service Coordinator with exceptional people skills to provide outstanding client support in our fast paced environment. In addition to being well organized, efficient, and able to work with limited supervision, the candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

This role would be part of an Administrative team which shares certain job duties.

The purpose of this position is to match up our clients’ needs with our available resources.

The Client Service Coordinator is the "Voice of Stamm Business Technologies." The position manages Client Service Requests and provides our clients with personal service everyday. As the hub of the IT Services department, all Stamm Business Technologies' clients pass through this office on their way to having their technology problems solved.

Successful candidates will be responsible for a combination of duties, including the following:

  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling on-site Engineer visits
  • Placing follow up courtesy calls to clients
  • Completing intake questionnaires for new clients
  • Creating sales proposals
  • Scheduling visits for outside sales people
  • Tracking client purchases
  • Providing internal support for Engineers in the field
  • Performing other administrative duties

Job Qualifications/Requirements and Benefits:

  • Minimum of two years in an Administrative Assistant, Customer Service Representative OR Inside Sales role
  • A sense of “ownership” around managing and completing assigned tasks

Mac/PC Help Desk Technician

We are looking for a Help Desk Technician with exceptional people skills to provide outstanding technical support in our fast paced environment. For more information about us, please see http://www.stammbt.com.

The majority of our clients rely on Stamm Business Technologies as their sole technology resource, so this position requires handling a broad range of tasks, from server troubleshooting to resolving desktop issues.

  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote support software to our client base
  • Escalating complex problems to Field Engineers for onsite client visits
  • Documenting problems and resolutions in our ticket tracking system
  • Rebuild/upgrade/repair PC and Mac desktops
  • Evaluate clients needs and make recommendations for upgrades
  • Supporting, maintaining and designing local area networks
  • Application integration and support
  • Escalating complex problems to Field Engineers for onsite client visits
  • Explain difficult concepts simply and follow up on any client requests and needs

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of technical support experience; including 1 year in a help desk environment
  • Experience with Remote Support technologies such as Remote Desktop (Microsoft), Apple Remote Desktop, VNC, WebEx, Timbuktu Pro, GoToAssist
  • Experience in supporting Mac OS 9.x, 10.x (OS X Server, Xserve experience a plus)
  • Experience with Windows 98/2000/2003 servers and desktops
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Veritas Backup Exec, and Retrospect
  • Experience with VPN configuration
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with clients who are under pressure/deadlines
  • Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines and schedules\
  • Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

  • Travel to client locations to troubleshoot hardware/software problems - a car is required
  • Evaluate clients needs and make recommendations for upgrades
  • Supporting, maintaining and designing local area networks
  • Application integration and support
  • Cultivation of new clients and participation in business networking groups
  • Explain difficult concepts simply and follow up on any client requests and needs

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of consulting/technical support experience; including 1 year in a consulting environment
  • Experience in supporting Mac OS 9.x, 10.x (OS X Server, Xserve experience a plus)
  • Experience with Windows 98/2000/2003 servers and desktops
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Veritas Backup Exec, and Retrospect
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with clients who are under pressure/deadlines
  • Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines and schedules
  • Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent logic and problem solving skills
  • MCSE certification a definite plus

FileMaker Developer

Successful candidates will be responsible for a combination of duties, including the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and develop server based/stand alone/web based applications.
  • Modify and maintain existing modules.
  • Work directly with users on defining and analyzing new modules.
  • Provide customer support.

Requirements:

  • Must have comprehensive understanding of Filmmaker Pro, versions 4 through 7
  • Knowledge of FileMaker unlimited, Web Companion, Web Server Connector, FileMaker server.
  • Working familiarity with both PC and Mac OS.
  • Familiarity with related technologies HTML, XML/XSLT, CDML, JavaScript, ASP, SQL is a plus.
  • Experience with a multi-user development, both for FileMaker and web.
  • Knowledge is important, but the ability and motivation to learn essential.
  • Ability to work independently and have project management and system analysis skills.
  • A broad technological perspective, familiarity with other tools is a plus.
  • Technically oriented, and able to approach new technologies (interface with other data bases/applications/hardware).
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Enjoy giving top-level customer service, good communication skills, and an effective team player.
  • The ability to multi-task, and adjust to ever changing requirements.
  • Detail oriented.
